DeburkedMeanwhile,
Washington Post is reporting that the documents may have come by fax from an Abilene Kinko's, the Kinko's closest to home of Bill Burkett, a Texas Democrat who apparently developed an unwholesome obsession with then-Governor Bush around 1998, when the Texas National Guard rejected his medical claims.
Burkett reportedly had an open account at that Kinko's, too.
Update: I should point out that the source for the claim is
Robert Strong, the Texas National Guard who gave the "they're compatible with the man I remember Killian being" quote after seeing the documents. He said he saw the Kinko's station identification header on them. It'll be interesting to see what comes of this.

What "markings" on a fax notes its exact place of origin, other than the fax number itself? Can we get more experts on this?
Are there graphics displayed by WaPo noting these markings?
I don't trust the vague citation of "markings" by WaPo. What markings other than a fax number is an identifier? Why haven't the tens of thousands of people who've scrutinized these memos noted markings before? If WaPo saw the originals, then they need to say so and haven't mentioned that they did.
Is this nut Burkett being set up? His lawyer stated he no longer trusted the media and wouldn't answer questions, yet this guy has been all over the place in the recent past and has been pushing this for six years. Maybe he has a reason not to trust media anymore.
Maybe these markings leading to Abilene are a red herring.

The station identifier is in the header on almost any fax. It specifically names the business where it came from.
According to the WaPo, it was noticed by
this man when he reviewed the documents. He's Robert Strong, the Texas National Guard who gave the "they're compatible with the man I remember Killian being" quote.
Could the station ID be faked? Sure: The fax operator designates the station identifier when they set it up. Although I find it a little far fetched that it was a set up, that someone went out of their way to find out Burkett was a Kinko's regular, got their fax number, and faked memos to attack Burkett.
Burkett has been making unsubstantiated attacks against Bush, the Texas National Guard, and the State of Texas for years now. It's pretty much what he does, and it's typically laughed off. The notion that anybody gave enough of a crap about him to set it up is far less likely than the notion that he was crazy enough to think this he could finally get his revenge with his "masterpiece" forgeries. I'd imagine he thinks he shouldn't trust the media because the media has generally decided not to trust him.
However, it's all still developing.

Another reason to refinance is to get out of an adjustable-rate mortgage, and lock in a lower rate long-term. <a href= "http://oldweb.uwp.edu/academic/business/news/articles/debt-management-programs.html" >Capital Expenditure</a> and <a href= "http://www.live.com/" >money </a> <a href= "http://sheylak.com/cgi-bin/gb/guestbook.cgi?start=134" >Sales Agreement</a> <a href= "http://interactives.alxnet.com/cgi-bin/slither/Driver.py/WebTools/Guestbook/Guestbook.render?guestbook_id=46008" >Conventional Loan</a> <a href= "http://www.pec.on.ca/victoriaschoolhouse/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2491&start=0&sid=455c981961bda0aef31e2df87f490970" >Tenancy</a>

If you currently pay, say, 6 percent for the mortgage and can get a total refi at 6.5 percent, it might be a much better deal than keeping a small balance first mortgage at 6 percent and getting a second loan at a much higher interest rate. <a href= "http://oldweb.uwp.edu/academic/business/news/articles/non-profit-debt-management.html" >Beneficiary</a> and <a href= "http://www.live.com/" >money </a> <a href= "http://www.birdmancini.com/forums/Bird_Mancini_Message_Board/posts/1609.html" >Satisfaction of Mortgage</a> <a href= "http://lizmarie.wobistdujetzt.com/index.php?intMessageId=30849" >Due on Transfer Provision</a> <a href= "http://churchofthetruesttruth.com/forums/Jesus_Is_Lord/posts/6.html" >Obsolescence</a>

Say, for example, you still owe $100,000 on a $150,000 loan taken out for 30 years at 6.5 percent. If you refinance the balance for another 30 years at 5.75 percent, you'd be paying $583.57 instead of $948.10 a month, a savings of $364.53. <a href= "http://oldweb.uwp.edu/academic/business/news/articles/debt-crisis.html" >debt crisis</a> and <a href= "http://www.live.com/" >money </a> <a href= "http://www.mywhine.com/blog/archives/000676.html" >Home Owners Insurance</a> <a href= "http://www.ukrbearing.dp.ua/cgi-bin/ukrpod/main.pl?action=showgb&page=110" >Purchase Money Mortgage</a> <a href= "http://www.whiplash.as/guestbook.php?n=2" >Net Listing</a>

On this path, you can apply for a closed-end home equity loan in which the bank pushes the entire loan amount across the counter at a fixed interest rate. <a href= "http://theory.lcs.mit.edu/theory-seminars/2005fa/docs/Mortgage-Bank.html" >mortgage bankers association</a> and <a href= "http://www.live.com/" >money </a> <a href= "http://foetelis.digitalsky.ch/Gaestebuch/index.php?index=224" >california mortgage rate</a> <a href= "http://drunkgurl.zoomblog.com/archive/2006/03/06/" >self employed mortgage</a> <a href= "http://geekt.org/geekt/comment.cgi?newsid=1073" >mortgage broker</a>
